Hey friend,
We had a full issue ready to go this week—packed with smart takes and shiny tools.
And then… we scrapped it.
Not because the content wasn’t good (it was), but because this just didn’t feel like the week to talk about growth levers or open rates. Everything in the world feels fast right now. Loud. And a little unstable.
So we’re hitting pause to take a breath.
No new tactics today. Just a quick check-in and a thought we’re sitting with.
We’ve been reading about Slow Productivity—Cal Newport’s take on doing fewer things, more deliberately. And it hit home. Because maybe the most productive thing this week isn’t doing more. It’s doing less, consciously.
And that is the energy we want to bring into our work and this newsletter.
So here’s what we’re leaning into:
- Not everything has to scale.
- You can be ambitious and tired.
- It’s okay to work at a human pace.
- Depth matters more than volume
- Rest is productive.
- Not everything needs to be optimized.
This week, we’re being a little more human. A little less optimized. And more tuned into the people around us—and not just the noise. Hoping you’ll join us.
We’ll be back next week with the usual mix of insights, tools, and things we’re tinkering with. But for now?
Close a few tabs. Step away from Slack. Take a minute or two to think about what Slow Productivity means to you today.
You’re doing better than you think.

P.S. If you want a thoughtful (albeit long) intro to Slow Productivity, here's Cal talking about it on the Tim Ferriss Show.
